What is a Thanadoula?

Thanadoula comes from the Greek Origins: Thanatos means death, and Doula means servant.

Thanadoula, Death Doula, End-of-Life Practitioner are all terms used to describe a person who supports the dying and their family through the end of life process and bereavement.  Services can include legacy work, end of life vigil, post death vigil and bereavement supports.
